Originally formed in 1996, the Ron Bosse Trio is a powerhouse group performing the works of critically acclaimed guitarist/composer Ron Bosse. The groups most recent evolution, consisting of drummer Steve Langone and bassist Fernando Huergo, is a stand out among its 10 year history and is one of the tightest to date. The trio offers an imaginantive blend of original compositions and arrangements performed with an edgy, modern sound.

Fernando Huergo, Bass: Born in Cordoba, Argentina in 1968, bassist Fernando Huergo has recorded over 80 albums, including 7 as leader, and has toured in North, Central and South America, Europe and Asia. He has performed with numerous jazz legends and rising talents including Danilo Perez, Guillermo Klein, Victor Mendoza, Luciana Souza, Hendrick Meurkens, Dave Liebman, Dave Samuels, Joe Beck, El Eco, Mark Shilansky, Fernando Tarres, Edu Tancredi, Tom Harrell, Dave Liebman, Billy Pierce, George Garzone, Jerry Bergonzi, Dave Kikoski, Rick Margitza, Kenny Werner, Danilo Perez, David Sanchez, Don Braden, Claudio Roditi, Mike Stern, Dave Weckl. Fernando graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1992, where he is a Faculty Member in the Bass Department since 1996, with the position of Assistant Professor. He also teaches at Tufts University where he has been on the faculty since 2001.

Ron Bosse, Guitar: A graduate of Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music, guitarist, composer and educator Ron Bosse has achieved national recognition for his work, and has been cited in such widely read publications as Jazz Times Magazine, The Boston Globe and The New York Times.  As founder and artistic director of “Next Level Jazz”- an ongoing concert series  dedicated to bringing musicians of the highest caliber together in new and unique settings, Ron has produced over 400 concerts at various venues throughout the U.S and Canada. As part of this series he has performed with some of the world’s greatest jazz  musicians including Bob Mintzer, Dave Liebman, George Garzone, Rick Margitza, Gary Thomas, Jerry Bergonzi and Bob Moses. Ron has performed at numerous festivals and jazz clubs throughout the U.S and Canada.


Steve Langone, Drums: Massachusetts native Steve Langone is one of the most in-demand drummers in New England having shared the stage with musicians such George Garzone, John Lockwood, Jerry Bergonzi, Oscar Stagnaro, Helio Alves and Henry Murkins. Steve has performed at such prestigious venues and festivals such as Regattabar, Blue Note, Boston Globe Jazz Festival, Heineken Jazz Festival, and Scullers. Boston Globe columnist Bob Blumenthal has described Steve's technical artistry as "combustible". Steve is a graduate of Boston's renowned Berklee College of Music and has performed extensively throughout the United States and Europe.
