2.8.10: On February 6, 2010, Mark Small, editor of Berklee Today Magazine, wrote an outstanding review of vocalist Trina Aitken's new single titled "Sound of My Heartache". I produced and engineered the song and we are thrilled at the positve response we are getting from the press and fans! Click here to read the review!
1.10.10: Vocalist Trina Aitken and I just finished the first single that will be part of her upcoming CD due out this spring!!! The single is entitled "Sound of My Heartache" and was produced by me and mixed by acclaimed engineer Ted Paduck! Special thanks goes out to assistant engineers Tom Barry and AJ Peters for their wonderful work on this project!!!
8.2.09: Just finished up another website located at bosseentertainment.com This is a booking agency focusing on the best in live jazz, classical and contemporary music!!!! The site has a number of great new artists that have been added to the roster and features in depth bio's and great musical clips. I've been writing constantly over the past few weeks and am happy to say that some good stuff has come out of it. I wrote a tune for vocalist Trina Aitken that she finished the lyrics and melody to which is called ".Last". We think it's strong enough to go on the new album!!!!!!! We may take one of the tunes and use it as a template for the first Bosse School of Music Songwriting Competition whic is pretty cool. I also have some addtional material that I might let some of our more accomplished students take a shot at writing lyrics and melody for!!! It's a lofty goal but I'm sure someone can meet the challenge!!!!!!
7.27.09: New website is up!!!!!! I'd like to thank photographer/musician Brit Woolard for taking some absolutely burning pictures of the last Pursuance concert!!!! Many of the pictures are up on the new website. You can check out more of Brit's work at www.myspace.com/britwoolard photography...it's great stuff!!!
5.19.09: I just played an outstanding gig last night with Pursuance (Will Hudgins, Rick Dimuzio, Fernando Huergo, Steve Langone)!!! We played a bunch of brand new original material that I've written over the past 6 months. I specifically wrote this material for these musicians and I was extremely happy with the results!!! I utilized many of the techniques I learned from Wynton Marsalis with regard to composing (extended interludes, different solo sections, time changes, poly-rhythms etc...). I still have a few more tunes to write and then we'll get started playing some more gigs throughout this year!!!!! There are a few clips up of the band on the Pursuance portion of this website!!!!!!
1.21.09: Just did a great gig with my good friend Claudio Zanghieri from Rome, Italy and drummer Mike Stavitz. We did a huge concert at Bosse School of Music and sold out 2 shows. We played a bunch of my original compositions and I got to unleash this killer new pedal rig that I assembled!!! It was great playing with Claudio again. The last time we played together was at Berklee...we were definitely due to rip it up! I look forward to future playing opportunities with him.
3.10.09: I just added a video of me playing over a minor blues on YouTube. I'll be adding more in the weeks to come. I recorded the video on my mac and the audio seperately in Logic Pro. I've been experimenting with some new gear recently and was able to get some new sounds specifically with the use of the Boss DD-6 delay and the Fulltone Full-Drive distortion pedal. Here is the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJCzxBaxF0I Hope you like it!!!
2.19.09: I've been laying down tracks for vocalist Trina Aitken's upcoming CD. We have some killer material and some outstanding musicians who have performed on the tunes. The tunes are a mixture of jazz, r&b and rock with some excellent songwriting and well thought out arrangements.
10.5.08: I've been doing an insane amount of recording of my own original solo guitar compositions and ideas for vocalist Trina Aitken's upcoming CD. We hope to release her CD at some point in late 2009.
7.6.08: Played a great gig out in the Berkshires with Steve Langone and Fernando Huergo to celebrate Will Hudgin's wedding. We had a great time playing outside overlooking Stockbridge.
6.20.08: Vocalist Trina Aitken and I have been playing a number of performances at the Asian C Restaurant in Hingham, Ma. We've been performing a mixture of jazz, r&b and rock arrangements, as well as a host of new originals. The crowds have been great and we look forward to future performances.
2.20.08: Just finished a 4 song demo with the new Pursuance. We recorded it at Bosse Studios and we got some great sounds. We will hopefully be recording some more throughout 2009.
2.16.08: I did a killer gig at Bosse Studios with the new Pursuance consisting of Steve Langone on drums, Fernando Huergo Huergo on Bass, Rick Dimuzio on sax and of course Will Hudgins on vibes. We did a few new compositions that I've been working on and everything sounded great!
